I've now made the booking for getting us back from Thurso by train once we have completed the ride. Unfortunately the cycle reservations had already been taken on our preferred train, so we had to take the second choice: 08:41h from Thurso, 2 changes (Inverness and Edinburgh) and reach Stevenage at 21:17h where we will be met to take us home. Should reach home by 10pm, a quick unpack, kip and then straight into work the next morning!
But that means all accommodation and travel is now booked, so all that remains is to keep training! Next planned training ride is on Good Friday when we are planning an all day ride of some 80-90 miles so we can find out what we feel like after doing it! Destination will depend on weather forecast. We'll let you know how we get on...
